Crumbl Cookies has skyrocketed to the cookie big leagues, becoming a household name with its Insta-ready pink box and ever-changing menu of flavors. But scammers have taken notice. If you’ve seen online ads offering a free $100 Crumbl gift card, stop before you click. These offers are part of a sophisticated scam operation designed to steal your personal and financial information.

How the Crumbl Cookies Reviewer Scam Works

Scammers are exploiting Crumbl’s brand by promoting fake $100 gift card offers on social media, through text messages, and on shady websites like:

    • “crumblcookiespromo[dot]com”
    • “cookies-100[dot]com”

At first glance, the scam websites appear legitimate. They mimic Crumbl’s official branding with logos, colors, and even real product imagery. Victims are told they can get a $100 Crumbl gift card by completing a few easy steps: answer a survey, provide personal information, and complete 3–5 additional “offers”. These “offers” typically involve signing up for free trials, downloading apps, or subscribing to services that require your credit card. But there is no gift card.

These scams often begin with a highly enticing ad: “Get a $100 Crumbl Gift Card—Today Only!” You might see it on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, or even as a text message. Some victims are charged small amounts (usually $1 to $5) as a “verification” or “processing fee”, while others unknowingly enroll in recurring subscription charges. In the end, the gift card never arrives. Victims either get a vague excuse (“Due to high demand, we’re currently out of gift cards”) or are ghosted entirely.

The Sites and Platforms Scammers Use

Scammers cast a wide net. These fake Crumbl promotions often appear on:

    • Facebook and Instagram ads
    • TikTok videos and influencer “giveaways”
    • Pop-ups on streaming or movie sites
    • Banner ads on coupon or torrent sites
    • Text messages with suspicious links
    • YouTube video ads
    • Scam coupon portals and fake promo pages

What to Do If You’ve Fallen for the Scam

If you suspect you’ve been tricked by a fake Crumbl Cookies promotion:

    1. Contact Your Bank: Report any suspicious charges and consider canceling the affected card.
    2. Change Your Passwords: If you used the same credentials elsewhere, change them immediately and enable two-factor authentication.
    3. Monitor Your Credit: Place a 90-day fraud alert with major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion).
    4. Cancel Subscriptions: If you signed up for free trials as part of the scam, cancel them now before they begin charging you.
    5. Report the Scam: File a complaint with:
      • The FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov
      • The FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center at ic3.gov
      • Crumbl Cookies’ official website so they can take legal action

    How to Stay Safe

    • Be skeptical of offers that sound too good to be true.
    • Only trust promotions from Crumbl’s official website or verified social media accounts.
    • Don’t give out personal or payment information unless you’re sure the source is legitimate.
    • Use a virtual credit card or payment service like PayPal for added protection when exploring online deals.
