    Founded in 1924, Sam Ash Music has been a cornerstone for musicians, offering instruments, rentals, and lessons. Yet the company announced that it will shut down all 42 retail locations across the United States due to the challenges of the post-COVID era.

    They began store closing sales on May 2, 2024, and the sale is still ongoing, featuring heavily discounted in-store and online stock. Musicians are encouraged to seize this opportunity while supplies last. Below is their official announcement:

    You might have come across Facebook ads featuring Sam Ash Music closing sales. Beware! These ads could be SCAMs. We’ve found several Facebook ads promoting 90% off closing sales and clearance sales, featuring discounts on products such as Gibson Les Paul or other instruments:

    These ads lead to different copycat versions of the legitimate Sam Ash Music website (samash.com). Below is an example:
