Scammers pretend to be from Dyson and send you emails, claiming that you are selected to “participate in their Loyalty Program” and get a free Dyson vacuum as a reward. They ask you to click on the “Get Started” button in the email to claim your gift. Please don’t fall for it!

The link is a phishing link. It leads to a fake website where you’re asked to enter personal information or other sensitive data such as banking details. Scammers will use your data for other scams, such as identity theft. In a worse situation, malware will start to download as soon as you click on the link.

This is how a fake Dyson loyalty program email looks like. If you take a closer, you will find that the “Dyson Vacuum” is misspelled as “Dynson Vaccum:”
