    Have you seen the Facebook advertisements that feature deals on HOKA sneakers and lead to an online shop called Allureusports[.]com recently? If you have, and are considering placing an order there, think again!     Impersonating DICK’s Sporting Goods 

    First of all, Allureusports[.]com is a copycat website of DICK’s Sporting Goods, the American sportswear retail chain. At first glance, it might be hard to tell from the genuine website (dickssportinggoods.com):

    Fake Facebook ads ft. HOKA 

    We’ve found that Allure Sports scams are spread via Facebook ads that promote tempting deals for HOKA sneakers. Posing as DICK’s Sporting Goods, scammers create fake Facebook accounts to advertise the scam website Allureusports[.]com. Below is an example:

    Allure Sports Scam: Other Red Flags 

    • Too-good-to-be-true discounts. 
    • Lack of customer reviews. 
    • Low trust score on Scamadviser
    • The website is very young – registered on July 28, 2023.

    Given all the negative reviews above, we’ve identified Allureusports[.]com as a scam site — don’t spend a cent on it! Chances are that scammers will steal your money as well as personal and financial information, which they could sell to cybercriminals on the dark web.
