[Scam Alert] Amazon 27th Anniversary Scam

Is Amazon celebrating its 27th anniversary? No! If you receive links via Facebook Messenger that say they lead to an Amazon anniversary celebration page, don’t click on them. It’s a SCAM!

Anniversary scams happen now and then, normally circulated via social media. Scammers impersonate famous brands and prompt you to click on their malicious links.

If you do click on the links, you could end up exposing your personal information and having your Facebook account hacked. What’s even worse, you could inadvertently end up sending scam links to all your contacts as well, creating even more victims!

    How to avoid anniversary scams

    • Go to Amazon’s official website for legitimate promotional campaign information.
