[Scam Alert] Fake Stimulus Check Scams

    Did you receive a text message that asks you to claim the second wave of the COVID-19 stimulus checks? Be careful, it is a SCAM! Fraudsters are sending fake text messages, prompting people to click on phishing links to receive the payment of “COVID-19 TREAS FUND.”

    They pose as the government and trick people to submit their personal data through the fake web page the link leads to. If you enter your personal information or financial credentials, the scammers can record and use them for scams afterward.
